Flavie MUGERINKOKO was born in 1987 at Mugera, in Mishiha commune, Burundi. She was educated at Kaniha Primary School and Lycee Notre-Dame de la Joie before she joins the University of Burundi in the Faculty of Economics. She completes her university studies in 2012. She is a founding member of YOWLI-Burundi and plays the role of treasurer of the association. In her career, she has been a primary school teacher before she joins the university. After her post-university training at SOPRAD in Ruyigi province, she is now living in Bujumbura. She has also been member of several youth associations among which those tackling HIV/AIDS.
