The objective was to establish a Mobile Platform 4 M-Health that seeks to improve antenatal care (ANC) attendance among pregnant women in rural health settings of Burundi and Rwanda. It is a digital platform that enabled health care providers to track and remind pregnant women for ANC attendance and to provide useful real time information needed for maternal health education. Nurses, Community Health Workers (CHWs), and pregnant women used a digital platform for pregnancy monitoring and information sharing. Additionally, a free helpline that was accessible 24/7 in order to ensure immediate assistance of CHWs or pregnant women by nurses.
