Training healthcare providers on pharmacovigilance

After training trainers, 22 healthcare providers from surveillance site sentinels received an intensive training facilitated by two trainers of trainers. The training lasted two days and covered basics of pharmacovigilance, different channels of notification, common tools of notification, etc. The trained healthcare providers, though not enough, have acquired skills to adequately and timely report adverse effects following immunization and or medication as well as medicines suspected with low quality.
